CSS is definitely a step up from HTML5 and I’m glad we got the chance to expand our web design skills in this project. The process of CSS is very intuitive and I can see how linking style sheets would simplify the process of beautifying basic HTML5 pages. It was great to see my basic page from Project 3 and transform it into a more visually appealing page using styling tags in CSS.
So with this fourth project, I decided to be more aware of the time suggestions at the top of the page, which helped my experience be much more pleasant and my work be more complete. I also tried watching the videos this time around, instead of just reading the transcripts, which helped my comprehension of the goals of the project so much. The color scheme was meant to match the color scheme of my photo that I included and I’m very happy with the results!
